Kaengesa Environmental Conservation Society (KAESO)
KAESO is an NGO based in Rukwa region which has been at the forefront on environmental conservation and Community development.It was Established on 12th March 1992 and registered under the laws of Tanzania on 14th June 1994 with registration No. S.O 8192 and obtained a certificate of compliance No 1785 on 21st May 2007. As a tax payer the TIN No. is 102-072-286.

We conduct and undertake research either independently or in collaboration with any organization, individuals, both within and outside the country on the causes and effects of the destruction of environment in Rukwa Region and the whole country

- To work on Climate Change resilience projects of activities
- To build capacity of smallholder farmers’ groups
- To address the issues of Environmental Health
- To address Agricultural challenges and improve food security.
